Earthquake shakes area close to Ozernovskiy, Russia: 5.0 magnitude reported on July 30

At midday on Wednesday, a 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded close to Ozernovskiy, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor struck the region at 01:12 UTC (12:12 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located roughly 161 km east-southeast of Ozernovskiy and occurred at a depth of 35 km.
