KHOST WA FIRING, Takhar — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Farkhār Friday morning.
The tremor, which struck the area at 21:03 UTC (01:33 local time), was centered about 63 km south of Farkhār. It occurred at a depth of 119 km.
