Update: Earthquake measuring 6.4 rocks area close to Yamada, Japan on Nov. 9

Sunday afternoon, a 6.4 magnitude quake was detected close to Yamada, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rocked at 08:54 UTC (18:54 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 117 km east of Yamada and a depth of 10 km.
