SARANGANI, SOCCSKSARGEN — A 5.4 magnitude quake struck near Sarangani on Thursday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook the area at 07:33 UTC (15:33 local time). It occurred at a depth of 61 km with the epicenter roughly 54 km south of Sarangani.
