Update: Earthquake shakes region close to Balangonan, Philippines on June 9 – 5.2 magnitude registered

A 5.2 magnitude quake struck close to Balangonan on Tuesday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which hit the area at 06:15 UTC (14:15 local time), was centered approximately 21 km southwest of Balangonan. It occurred at a depth of 83 km.
