Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 recorded near Abepura, Indonesia on July 24

SARMI REGENCY, Papua — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Abepura on Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the area at 12:27 UTC (21:27 local time), was centered roughly 194 km west of Abepura. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
