A 5.1 magnitude quake was recorded close to Vilyuchinsk Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The tremor, which jolted the area at 18:03 UTC (05:03 local time), was centered roughly 163 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk. It occurred at a depth of 60 km.
