Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 shakes area close to Sola, Vanuatu on July 24

A 5.1 magnitude quake struck close to Sola on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 21:19 UTC (08:19 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter about 55 km west-southwest of Sola.
