Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 reported close to Port Blair, India on July 29

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Port Blair Tuesday night.

The tremor shook at 15:47 UTC (21:47 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 275 km south-southeast of Port Blair and a depth of 10 km.
