Update: Seismic activity on March 30 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake near Luganville, Vanuatu registered

A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Luganville on Monday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 09:02 UTC (20:02 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 119 km, with its epicenter roughly 53 km east-northeast of Luganville. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.0 but later upgraded to 5.1.
