A 5.0 magnitude quake hit near Bandar Lampung on Tuesday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor jolted the area at 13:40 UTC (20:40 local time). It occurred at a depth of 31 km with the epicenter roughly 186 km west-southwest of Bandar Lampung.
