Update: Seismic activity on July 21 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia recorded

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake shook near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Monday afternoon.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 07:08 UTC (18:08 local time). The epicenter was situated approximately 174 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
