NORTH WEST SANTO, Sanma Province — A 6.4 magnitude quake was registered close to Port-Olry on Saturday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 02:27 UTC (13:27 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 48 km west of Port-Olry and a depth of 43 km.
