A 6.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Indian-Antarctic Ridge at midnight on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 15:01 UTC (00:01 local time). The epicenter was west of Indian-Antarctic Ridge, at a depth of 10 km.
