DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR — A 6.0 magnitude quake was reported close to off the coast of Oregon Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 3:25 a.m. (6:25 p.m. local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake rocked at a depth of 6 miles, with its epicenter of off the coast of Oregon.
