According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.6 magnitude quake jolted close to Ozernovskiy on Wednesday around midday.

The tremor struck the area at 01:38 UTC (12:38 local time). It occurred at a depth of 35 km with the epicenter situated approximately 136 km east-southeast of Ozernovskiy.
