SANTA CRUZ DAS FLORES, Azores — Monday evening, a 5.1 magnitude quake was registered close to Santa Cruz das Flores, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 22:31 UTC (20:31 local time), was centered roughly 128 km east-northeast of Santa Cruz das Flores. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
