Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 strikes area near East Pacific Rise on May 20

A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted close to East Pacific Rise on Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 18:36 UTC (10:36 local time), a tremor shook the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter south of East Pacific Rise. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.0 but later upgraded to 5.1.
