A 5.0 magnitude quake shook close to Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor jolted the area at 19:55 UTC (18:55 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
