Earthquake hits area near Sarangani, Philippines: 5.2 magnitude registered on June 8

A 5.2 magnitude quake shook near Sarangani on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which jolted the region at 00:18 UTC (08:18 local time), was centered about 15 km west of Sarangani. It occurred at a depth of 66 km.
