TAPACHULA, Chis. — A 6.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Puerto Madero on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor rocked the area at 15:20 UTC (09:20 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was roughly 90 km southwest of Puerto Madero and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
