Update: Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude registered close to Muratpaşa, Turkey on Dec. 8

AKSU, Antalya — on Monday around midday, a 5.1 magnitude quake was detected near Muratpaşa, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 10:21 UTC (13:21 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 111 km, with its epicenter approximately 22 km north-northeast of Muratpaşa.
