Update: Severe thunderstorm warning previously issued for Southwest Georgia will expire at 11:15 p.m.

The warning was active for Baker, Decatur, Miller, Mitchell and Seminole counties.

“The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. Frequent lightning remains a threat,” states the National Weather Service.
