The Chicago Steel won the game against Team USA 11-2 at USA Hockey Arena on Sunday, March 22, 2025.
Six goals were scored in the first period, and the Steel led 5-1 going in to the second period.
The Steel scored two goals in second period an held the lead 7-2 going in to the second break.
The Steel increased the lead to 8-2 within the first minute of the third period when Hudson Gorski beat the goalie, assisted by Cameron Briere and Ashton Schultz.
Arseni Marchenko made it 9-2 with a goal in the middle of the third, assisted by Teddy Mutryn and William Tomko.
Owen Tylec also increased the lead to 2-10 with a goal five minutes later, assisted by Luke Goukler.
The Steel increased the lead to 2-11 with 01.18 remaining of the third after a goal from Blake Vanek, assisted by Jackson Crowder and Aidan Dyer.
