Boston University have advanced to the next round of playoffs after a 3-1 victory over Penn State in the knock-out game on Thursday, April 09, 2025.

The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Terriers took the lead when Jack Hughes scored the first goal assisted by Matt Copponi.

Halfway through, Cole Eiserman scored a goal, assisted by Cole Hutson and Devin Kaplan, making the score 2-0.

The Nittany Lions narrowed the gap to 2-1 early in the third period when Nicholas Degraves scored, assisted by Ben Schoen and Simon Mack.

The Terriers increased the lead to 3-1 with 59 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Jack Harvey, assisted by Tom Willander and Jack Hughes.
