BU’s Quinn Hutson scored the game-winning goal.
The Big Red took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Ryan Walsh. Dalton Bancroft and Tim Rego assisted.
The Terriers’ Matt Copponi tied the game 1-1 in the first period, assisted by Cole Hutson and Gavin Mccarthy.
The Terriers took the lead, only 34 seconds into the third when Cole Hutson netted one, assisted by Ryan Greene and Quinn Hutson.
Jack O’Leary tied it up 2-2 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Tim Rego and Sullivan Mack. The game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 6:25 before Quinn Hutson scored the game-winner for the team, assisted by Ryan Greene and Shane Lachance.
