An updated beach hazards statement was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:16 p.m. in effect until 4 p.m. for Orange County Coastal.

The NWS describes, “Elevated surf of 4 to 6 feet expected.”

“Potentially dangerous swimming conditions, particularly for inexperienced swimmers,” says the NWS. “Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.”
