A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 12:12 UTC (09:12 local time), was centered north of Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
