Update: 5.2 magnitude earthquake recorded near Sinabang, Indonesia on April 12

SIMEULUE REGENCY, Aceh — A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred close to Sinabang on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook the area at 02:40 UTC (08:40 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter about 193 km west-southwest of Sinabang.
