Hull lagged behind in home match against Preston North End in the Championship. However, the team reversed the course to win with 2-1.
The game was scoreless until Lewis Gibson found the net for the Preston in the 34th minute.
Straight after the break, Joe Gelhardt made his mark and equalised for Hull.
Hull also made it 2-1 in the 67th minute, when Joe Gelhardt made his mark with a penalty to complete Hull’s come back.
It was Preston North End’s sixth game in a row without a win.
With two games remaining, Hull are in 20th place in the table while Preston North End are in 18th.
The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 1-0 home win for Preston North End in December.
Hull play Derby County on 25 April and Portsmouth on 2 May. Preston North End’s next opponents are Plymouth on 25 April and Bristol C on 2 May.
