The Women’s Super League dam battle between Brighton and Liverpool concluded with Liverpool claiming a hard-fought 2-1 victory. Initially establishing a 2-0 lead, Liverpool encountered a spirited resurgence from Brighton in the latter stages, yet held on to secure the win.

With three games remaining, in the qualifiers Brighton are in eighth place in the table while Liverpool are in fifth.

The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 2-1 home win for Liverpool in January.
