The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Fighting Saints took the lead when Josh Giuliani scored assisted by Cole Spicer and Lucas Van Vliet.
Midway through, Thomas Vandenberg scored a goal, assisted by Jason Musa and Maxon Vig, making the score 1-1.
Fighting Saints’ Josh Giuliani tallied a goal as he scored again, with a minute left, making the score 2-1. Michael Barron and Sean Barnhill assisted.
Hans-Martin Ulvebne tied it up 2-2 with a goal halfway through the third period, assisted by Thomas Vandenberg and Maxon Vig.
Heikki Ruohonen took the lead with a goal five minutes later, assisted by Michael Barron and Edison Engle.
The Fighting Saints increased the lead to 4-2 with 41 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Cole Spicer, assisted by Teddy Merrill and Lucas Van Vliet.
