The Des Moines Buccaneers won at MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex on Friday, April 10, 2025, handing the Omaha Lancers a defeat 4-2.
The Buccaneers opened strong, at the beginning of the game with Andrew Clarke scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Richard Baran and Jack Kernan.
The Lancers tied the score 1-1 in the first period when Miroslav Satan Jr scored the first goal, assisted by David Hruby and Ben Osiashvili.
The Buccaneers’ Brittan Alstead took the lead with a minute left in the first period, assisted by Connor Bewick and Blake Zielinski.
Blake Zielinski scored halfway through the second period, assisted by Brittan Alstead and Jack Kernan.
Davis Borozinskis narrowed the gap to 3-2 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Tanner Morgan.
The Buccaneers increased the lead to 4-2 with 01.55 remaining of the third after a goal from Jack Kernan, assisted by Brittan Alstead and Blake Zielinski.
