League leaders Liverpool continue to impress. With a 1-0 win at home against Everton, Liverpool recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Arsenal is now 12 points. Everton are in 15th place in the league.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 57th minute before Diogo Jota netted, with an assist by Luis Diaz, to make it 1–0 for the Reds, a goal that decided the game.
With this win, Liverpool have four straight victories.
The result saw Liverpool’s 26th game in a row without defeat.
The previous match between the teams ended in a 2-2 draw, with Everton at home in February.
