Ipswich ended their wretched run of four straight defeats in the Premier League against Bournemouth on Wednesday. The match finished 2-1.
In the 34th minute, Nathan Broadhead scored to give Ipswich a 1-0 lead in what had been a goalless match.
In the 60th minute, Liam Delap increased the lead for Ipswich.
Bournemouth’s Evanilson also reduced the score for Bournemouth in the 67th minute.
Yet the result means the fifth game in a row without a win for Bournemouth.
The result means Bournemouth stay in 10th place and Ipswich are in 18th.
The previous outing between the teams ended in a 2-1 away win for Bournemouth in December.
Bournemouth play West Ham on 4 April, Fulham on 13 April and Crystal Palace (away) on 18 April. Ipswich’s next opponents are Wolverhampton on 4 April, Chelsea on 12 April and Arsenal (home) on 19 April.
