The -team Chippewa Steel were in control in the first period of the Chippewa Area Ice Arena matchup on Saturday, March 28, 2025, and led 2-0.
The Minnesota Wilderness, however, turned things around and won the game 4-3.
Minnesota Wilderness’ Logan Nagle scored the game-winning goal.
The Steel took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Connor Jalbert. George Peterson and Ryder Mcintosh assisted.
The Steel’s Sam Schulte made it 2-0 late in the first, assisted by Tomas Trunda and Camden Davis.
Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Steel led 3-2 going in to the third period.
The Wilderness tied the score 3-3 within the first minute of the third period when Logan Nagle netted one, assisted by Noah Dziver and Ben Roulette.
Logan Nagle took the lead with a goal halfway through the third, assisted by Noah Dziver and Ryan Deangelis.
