Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks overcome disadvantage to win

The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks lagged behind ahead of the third period in their game on Friday, March 27, 2025 against the Philadelphia Rebels at Hollydell Ice Arena.

But the team overcame the odds to win 7-3.

The Hat Tricks opened strong, early in the game with Niko Tournas scoring in the first minute, goal assisted by Ryan Lukko.

The Rebels tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Ryan Bunting late in the first period, assisted by Luke Janviriya and Billy Sheridan.

The second period ended with a 3-2 lead for the Rebels.

David Utkin tied it up 3-3 with a goal in the middle of the third period, assisted by Brendan Boring and Niko Tournas.

Jack Harney also took the lead with a goal one minute later, assisted by Andrew Gibbons and Nicholas Peragine.

Ameen Ghosheh then made it 5-3 with a goal two minutes later, assisted by Kai Elkie and Alexis Billequey.

Three minutes later, Salvatore Cerrato scored, assisted by Pierre Larocque and Joey Mallozzi.

Niko Tournas increased the lead to 7-3 with a goal only seconds later, assisted by Pierre Larocque and Salvatore Cerrato.
