Update: Oct. 11 – 5.3 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Gorontalo, Indonesia

POHUWATO REGENCY, Gorontalo — A 5.3 magnitude quake struck near Gorontalo on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the area at 21:34 UTC (05:34 local time). It occurred at a depth of 110 km with the epicenter approximately 150 km west of Gorontalo.
