A 5.5 magnitude quake jolted near Burias on Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 08:07 UTC (16:07 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 52 km, with its epicenter roughly 17 km southwest of Burias.
