A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Vilyuchinsk on Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
At 20:54 UTC (07:54 local time), a tremor struck the area at a depth of 31 km, with its epicenter approximately 171 km southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
