According to the National Hurricane Center’s 10 a.m. Sunday advisory, Tropical Depression Fay is in the Atlantic Ocean, 1,135 miles west-southwest of the Azores. Packing maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, it is tracking to the south-southeast at 3 mph.

“A slow turn to the south-southwest to southwest is forecast on Tuesday followed by a turn toward the west-southwest with an increase in forward speed by mid-week,” according to meteorologists. They also said “Little change in strength is forecast over the next several days.”
