MARE, Loyalty Islands Province — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Tadine on Sunday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 02:22 UTC (13:22 local time), with its epicenter approximately 90 km east-northeast of Tadine and a depth of 10 km.
