5.2 magnitude earthquake registered close to Bitung, Indonesia on Sept. 17

A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred close to Bitung on Thursday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 06:20 UTC (15:20 local time). The epicenter was roughly 132 km east of Bitung, at a depth of 10 km.
