A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Sarangani on Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 07:07 UTC (15:07 local time). The epicenter was about 154 km south of Sarangani, at a depth of 10 km.
