Update: Northeast Colorado severe thunderstorm warning set to expire at 6 p.m.

The warning was for Logan, Phillips and Sedgwick counties.

“The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. for a portion of northeast Colorado,” states the National Weather Service.
