A 5.2 magnitude quake struck near Cilacap on Friday around midday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 05:04 UTC (12:04 local time), a tremor hit the area at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter approximately 28 km south of Cilacap.
