The Youngstown Phantoms defeated the Tri-City Storm 4-2.
The game was tied after two periods, but Youngstown pulled away in the third to claim a victory on Saturday, March 21, 2025.
The team took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Evan Jardine. Jamison Sluys and Luke Osburn assisted.
The Storm tied the score 1-1 in the very last seconds of the first period, with a goal from Cooper Simpson, assisted by Colby Woogk and Bode Laylin.
The Phantoms took the lead early in the second period when Justin Kerr scored, assisted by Luca Jarvis.
Storm’s Ashton Dahms tallied a goal halfway through, making the score 2-2. Cameron Springer and Bode Laylin assisted.
Coleson Hanrahan took the lead with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Jamison Sluys and Michael Mesic.
The Phantoms increased the lead to 4-2 with 25 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Landan Resendes, assisted by Brecken Smith.
