The Waterloo Black Hawks defeated the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 3-1 on Saturday, March 21, 2025 at ImOn Ice Arena.
The Black Hawks took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Brendan Mcmorrow. Dylan Compton assisted.
Easton Hewson made it 2-0 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Teddy Townsend.
Amine Hajibi narrowed the gap to 2-1 with a goal late in the third, assisted by Joseph Mense and Daniel Astapovich.
The Black Hawks increased the lead to 3-1 with 40 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Samuel Huck.
The win over the RoughRiders means that the Black Hawks have four wins in a row.
