The Wisconsin Badgers have advanced to the next round of playoffs after a decisive 6-2 victory at La Bahn Arena over the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the knock-out game on Friday, March 20, 2025.
The Gophers took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Peyton Hemp. Ava Lindsay and Emma Kreisz assisted.
The Badgers tied it up 1-1 with a goal from Laila Edwards late in the first, assisted by Casey O’Brien and Caroline Harvey.
The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Badgers.
Laila Edwards made it 5-2 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Kelly Gorbatenko and Caroline Harvey.
The Badgers increased the lead to 6-2 with 01.19 remaining of the third after a goal from Laila Edwards, assisted by Claire Enright and Caroline Harvey.
