On Friday, March 20, 2025, the Ohio State Buckeyes have won their knock-out game at OSU Ice Arena against Cornell Big Red 4-2, securing their spot in the next round of the playoffs.

The Buckeyes opened strong, at the beginning of the game with Makenna Webster scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Joy Dunne.

The Buckeyes made it 2-0 in the first period when Brooke Disher scored, assisted by Jenna Buglioni and Sloane Matthews.

Lily Delianedis scored late in the second period, assisted by Georgia Schiff and Rose Dwyer.

Kaitlin Jockims then tallied a goal late, making the score 2-2. Piper Grober assisted.

The Buckeyes took the lead early in the third period when Joy Dunne found the back of the net, assisted by Makenna Webster and Mira Jungåker.

Joy Dunne increased the lead to 4-2 with a goal four minutes later, assisted by Jocelyn Amos and Makenna Webster.
